Katrina Kaif newest face of Lux

Katrina Kaif will be joining the brigade of divas like Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra as she has signed to be the brand ambassador of Lux soap.

The company, which today launched Lux Purple Lotus and Cream said the actress will be endorsing the new variant.

"We are very pleased to have Katrina Kaif on board, to endorse our new Lux Purple Lotus and Cream variant, enriched with essential beauty oils," HUL Vice-President (Home and Skin Cleansing) Sudhanshu Vats said in a statement.

This British born actress Katrina Kaif has a mix tone of English accent with her Hindi tone that initially had created difficulty for her in familiarising with the Indian crowd. But after her involvement in the political film ‘Rajneeti’ she is able to speak Hindi without an accent.

In an interview the talented actress Katrina stated that her role in ‘Rajneeti’ excites her more because this film has helped her to become more comfortable with the language as previously she had to dub her voice for films.

Previously, Katrina had a tough time delivering perfect Hindi in ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ as the director Raj Kumar Santoshi was very particular about her Hindi.

She has gone not only for a language change over but also for a complete change in her get up as well in ‘Rajneeti’. As we will see this short skimpy dress lover getting covered in a long cloth of sari draped over her body covering her attractive flesh.

She is excited about the part of her role as she has lots of expectations from it, Katrina states, "I am excited about the part (in 'Rajneeti'), but I am not very excited about speaking Hindi because I spoke Hindi in my last ten films. It's a great role and a great film and I certainly hope people enjoy it.”

It is her first political thriller and she has kept her options open by not restricting herself to any particular genre. Hope people will like her in real Indian flavor mixed with conventional look and much pronounced Hindi.

Our B-town’s diva Katrina Kaif has got a prestigious brand in her career purse… The actress reported to have been signed on as the new brand ambassador of Lux. With this, Kat has joined the bandwagon of those few beauties who are associated with the beauty product and over which Kat said to be feeling on cloud nine. According to the beauty, not every actress in Bollywood has been associated with Lux. A select few actresses, who they felt suited the brand right (have been associated with it) and they all have been actresses of great stature with wonderful careers and some wonderful work, Katrina further said. The new ad, which highlights Lux Purple Lotus & Cream soap, is directed by Marco. The shoot was done in Bangkok and fashion designer Rocky S had styled Katrina. Like the earlier Ash-Abhishek commercial, the music for this one is also composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
