In actuality, the film's leading heroine is Lara Dutta and Katrina is just doing an item song and a few scenes in the film. While rumors have been swirling that her role in the movie has been extended to cash in on her star value, Katrina herself confirmed that her she has a very small role in the film. Too bad for all of Kat's legions of fans!
She's already shot her scenes in Bangkok and will be shooting her item song in Mumbai soon. It's rumored that while she's paired opposite Akshay in the film (uhh... duh!) she gets killed off after a few scenes.
