Katrina Successively for the second year in a row, Katrina Kaiff has topped the list of the most searched celebrities on Bollywood Hungama.
She has overtaken her competitors like Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha and other hot listed hotties of Bollywood.
Katrina Kaif was excited to hear the news and added "I'm so happy and privileged and I'm glad my well wishers have supported and stood by me. I m very happy to be voted everywhere. Its only because of my well wishers, I am here today. I hope you guys continue giving me such positive support as always."
In the Bollywood Hungama search engine, even the hot males of Bollywood would shy from Katrina’s fame, which shot to the top most.
From last year’s list of movies, top searched were 'Blue', 'Ghajini', 'Wanted'and 'Veer' respectively. Quite unusually high number of searches was made on ‘Blue’, which was highlighted for Katrina’s cameo sequence. SRK's latest ‘My Name Is Khan’ spotted in the eighth position. Following Bollywood’s hit list like Kaminey, Love Aaj Kal, Dostana and New York has snatched as the top 10 searches of 2009.
Eventually Kat runs the race and definitely with so many hit list she is the winner of people’s attention, undoubtedly her face do signify the comment.
Pleasing Katrina Kaif
How many best actor awards do we see given out at Oscars or Golden Globes? One each for both male and female actors. But the award functions in Bollywood, it seems, have their own standard by which they try to please all the actors who hold sway in the industry.No surprise then that a special award category was created at the recently held Star Screen Awards just to honour Katrina Kaif.
Some of the awards given out during the evening did raise brows among the skeptics.
There’s no doubt that Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan deserved to win the Best Actor awards, male and female respectively. Even Kareena Kapoor being given the Best Actress award in Popular Choice category could be understood. But what was the need of creating a new category (Entertainer of the Year) altogether?
The answer is simple. Katrina Kaif who had given the maximum number of hits last year could not be snubbed at the award function, particularly when she had agreed to perform during the event.
So Presto! A new category was created and Katrina given the trophy.
No wonder Aamir Khan stays away from popular award functions.

She has also gone ahead to say that Stephanie Meyer’s character Edward Cullen is the love of her life! She bought all the four books of the Twilight Series and reading them ravenously and she just started with her fourth book.
She says, “You don’t understand. This is like an obsession for me. I can’t get Robert Pattinson out of my head. I see the love of my life in every object that moves or doesn’t move. I’ve never felt this way about any man before.”
“Obviously, I can’t stand under his window to get his attention. So yes, the meeting has to be more formal. He says he’s single. But I don’t believe him. That’s what they all say.”
